What does one buy for the child who has everything!? Why, an iPod Pushchair, that’s what!

Made by Kolcraft, the iBaby is a pushchair with built in iPod compatibility. It’s a fairly cheap buggy style pushchair that has a sun hood, locking rear wheels, shock-absorbing front wheels and an adjustable back. Standard fare for your common or garden buggy, although there is a handy cup holder your half caff, skinny, soy latte with cinammon!
The clever bit is the iPod compatibility, which the iBaby provides through a pocket on the side of the buggy hood. Contained in the mesh pocket is a plastic cradle, suitable for most iPod models from the iPod Mini upwards. There are different foam inserts that allow your particular iPod to fit snugly. The cradle has an inbuilt speaker that faces down and into the buggy. There is an attached cable that plugs in just like headphones. Use your click wheel to control the iPod from there.

There’s a lot to be said for having this little gem, even if it does seem a bit over luxurious. Downloading soothing stories, nursery ryhmes and lullabys could make a long trip with your buggy and your baby a much more enjoyable experience for both you and baby.
